How far in advance do I need to book a party?
Bookings should be made as soon as possible as party dates fill up quickly. We prefer no later than two weeks before a party date in order to give us time to ensure that we have the supplies on hand.

What is the next step after I schedule a party?
Once you have called to schedule your party date, a contract package will be mailed to you. Return the signed contract via the postal service along with a $50 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure a date and time. The remaining balance is due during set-up on the day of your scheduled party.

How many guests can I invite?
The minimum number of guests for a party is ten. Should less than ten attend on the date of your party, minimum charges for the party are due. Additional guests are $12 each. We recommend guests be limited to a maximum of twenty, including the guest of honor, to ensure a magical time for each guest. Any party of 15 and over will be charged a $40 fee to cover the additional help needed. There is a fee of $1 per invitation for every invitation over 10 . We will call approximately 5 days before your scheduled party for a guest count. In the event that confirmed guests do not attend, charges will remain the same.

Do you have any location available to hold my party?
Yes, we have a facility located in Commerce Township. There is a $25 fee to use this facility with any of our party packages.

How long is the party?
Our standard package allows for a 2 hour party. In order to be able to fit in all the activities in the time allowed and barring any unforeseen circumstances, we will promptly start the party at the designated time.

What should the children wear for the dress-up parties?
The children do not get undressed. Our costumes can be worn over a leotard or bathing suit. Therefore, we kindly request that your guests know they can wear either a leotard or bathing suit. We can remind your guests of this in your custom invitations.

What should be done for a child that has food allergies?
It will be your responsibility to check for food allergies and to inform us of any concerns. If a guest should have severe allergies that we are unable to accommodate then either you or the child’s parent should provide alternate refreshments for that child.

What if I need to reschedule?
If the guest of honor becomes ill, we will gladly work with you to choose an alternate date for your party (based on availability).

What happens if any of Once Upon A Dream’s items are damaged during the party?
We appreciate your consideration to ensure our property is treated gently and carefully. We take pride in our items, but realize that "accidents" do happen. However, should an item be severely damaged during the event, the parent is financially liable for said damage.
